The product design stage is when the structure and appearance of a product, in combination with its usage mode, are shaped.


During the product design stage insights, ideas, and concepts are translated into form, material, and color. Design sketches and computerized models of the product are produced, taking into account usage, appearance, features, materials, and production processes. By the end of the design stage, 1:1 mock-ups simulating the product can be produced.
