When Greenbo approached Igloo to design and develop their innovative planter, they had no idea how successful the product would be. The planters can be placed on balcony rails or on fences, thus multiplying gardening options for houses and apartments. The idea is truly simple and clever; but despite its simplicity, during the development process we had to come up with solutions for a variety of problems, such as drainage, safety (no falling off balconies!), and adaptability to a wide range of rails. Clever solutions and the architectural design filled the city with these ingenious planters.
